Wamalug: Show: October 28, 2023: Smithsonian Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center Air & Scare

Air & Scare was held indoors and out again this year, with timed tickets needed only for the outside activities.

The museum did not mention the presence of participants from Wamalug asked to display creations with a connection, however loose, to items in the museum’s collection (reporting on WTOP didn’t mention us, either). Participants contributed to the display, offered a “pit” (table) for construction activities, and streamed building a LEGO Icons 10318 Concorde set under the museum’s Air France example. Joshua really stepped up with models of more than one aircraft in the museum’s collection.
