Wamalug: Event: September 12, 2026: Family Day: LEGO Showcase at the National Museum of the Marine Corps

The museum invited participants from Wamalug, Charm City LUG, and HaRdLUG to display creations on the theme of America 250 which did not have to be military.

From Charm City LUG, Caden depicted The Battle of Sugarloaf Hill.

From HaRdLUG. Jim brought an F-4 of some type and, to be fair, a bit of runway.

From Wamalug, Anthony had four mosaics including a new VIRGINIA IS FOR LEGO LOVERS, Gary depicted a scene of Navy flight training in 1943 with Stearman biplanes in “One Pass, One Fail,” Tyler had aircraft in two scales, Evan had a model of the Chinese landing ship Changbai Shan and smaller land vehicles, while Constantine took the non-military option to heart with an array of models spanning almost 190 years of passenger transport in the Nation’s Capital area.

Scott, unaffiliated, had numerous fixed-wing aircraft.
