Bob and Kevin joined Brian in some rounds with Sumo ’Bots.

Constantine offered a lineup of postal vehicles to join the little van from February.

Constantine built an 8-wide ACF hopper based on hints found at Brickshelf.

Judy had sculptures to display.

Jewish devotional objects by Judy.

The phoenix built by Judy takes a modern approach to lighting up.

Jeff had a number of the new Star Wars sets.

Christina holds another BrickFest™ planning meeting.

These two look thrilled to be there.

Constantine managed to freehand the newly selected logo on the whiteboard.

We have selected a new logo. The previous logo, with the Washington Monument graphic , did not read so well when the logo was used at smaller sizes , and the accompanying text did not match the name of the club as found in its revised documents. The on-line voting before the meeting was inconclusive, as four submissions ( Martha’s penny , Abe’s circles , Constantine’s WMATA–like shield , and Constantine’s exclamation point ) each got three votes each. In the run-off at the meeting, what may be considered the least disliked logo submission, Constantine’s yellow diamond with multicolor logotype (the last in his series of six submissions), prevailed.

A new rule has been approved to simplify our business meetings by reducing the requirement for a quorum by the number of members who have not showed up for 2 months. We have elected a revised slate of officers.
